Note that:

a) For 1st place there was a 5-way tie between players with perfect
5/0 records and

b) The top 17 finishers, by my count & subject to confirmation, have
oriental family names, the highest evident barbarian* being one
Michael Wanek, with a 4/1 result (*where the "b"-word refers to all
those other than nationals (or their close descendants) of the 3HC or
Three Home Countries of the game.

Two resulting questions =

1.) How do the players mentioned above in a) feel about "Swiss-Style"
vs knock-out tournament systems? (Personally I feel 'twould be quite
wrong to blame Roger Federer for the so-called "SS", especially since
AFAIK he plays only in knock-out events.)

2.) Are there any parties interested in promoting the global diffusion
of the fame from the minority populations of the 3HC & their diaspora
to the barbarian majority of humanity? If so, might such entirely
hypothetical entities wish to consider formally recognizing the
achievements of cultural newcomers to the competition? And if so, then
further: might such visionaries wish to create a B for Barbarian, of
course, list of finishers?
