In any event, Roskell is wrong to say that young Roger de Beauchamp was born 14 September 1362, and that his mother was probably Joan de Clopton. Neither statement appears to be correct. Complete Peerage 2 (1912): 45 is also wrong to assign Joan de Clopton as his own wife.

I (26M) recently realized I am Bisexual and am scared trying to figure out how to come out to my wife (27F)

So some backstory, I am a 26M who has always been very comfortable with my sexuality as in I never really questioned it much. Now let me preface this by saying I’m 90% sure I’m Bisexual and not Gay cause I find women just as attractive as men and have no problem getting aroused by men or women. I met my wife while we were both I College and we fell in love and have been together for 6 years now and I legitimately love her everyday. I see me spending my whole life with her and that makes me happy. The wrinkle is that when we got married about 6 months ago I started looking back on our life to reflect the marriage we were entering and my life and started realizing things.

It didn’t click at first, I went through with my wedding and it was the happiest day of my life but as I’ve gotten further removed from the wedding my sexuality has been eating at me. The catalyst for this post happened about two weeks ago, I was walking to my car from work and saw this guy walking down the street and I thought he was the most breathtaking person I’ve ever seen. It literally all clicked in place it made me think about everything I’ve ever kept to myself and it made me realize I was Bisexual and that I’ve been maybe keeping that part of me bottled up since I was little. It was this cathartic moment that sounds dumb when I type it out.

Well now I’m in a situation where I know I’m Bisexual and want to explore that part of myself not necessarily sexually just want to be open to that part of myself if that makes sense. I want to be able to paint my nails again, I want to be able to be open and honest with my wife about who I am but I’m so scared how she will react.

I am not trying to open my relationship up so I can sleep with men, I’m just trying to figure out what I want in this life and who I am and I want to experience it with my wife. I want to be able to be honest with her about who the real me is and I feel like I can’t keep this fact about me from her because what is the good in that. We’re married we should love each other and support the real us and shouldn’t have to keep secrets just like I wouldn’t want her to keep anything like this from me.

But the rub comes down to she is from a more religious upbringing and she’s never been super comfortable with homosexuality and I’m terrified that if I open up to her she’ll never be able to accept me. I can’t keep this from her because true love means being open and honest with one another but I’m just so terrified that she won’t accept me when I do come out. Not telling her isn’t an option, I just need some advice on how to tell her so that i hopefully don’t alienate her completely in five minutes because I do love her and want to be with her if she accepts me.
